Series name: Harry Potter
Canon notes: He's from Book Four, right after he grabs the Triwizard Cup
Species: Human
Age: 14
Arrival Condition: He's a little banged up from the third task but he's okay.
History: Here is the fandom wiki.
Personality:
Harry is beyond determined to always do the right thing no matter what the personal cost-an admirable personality trait that is inherited from both sides of his parents. When he first steps into the wizarding world he finds it kind of nice to be recognized but he doesn't quite realize what he's recognized for and fears being just a famous name which is why he strives to prove himself-to find something he can do to prove himself. This is part of the reason he enjoys flying and Quidditch so much-he's no longer just the boy who lived, he's the boy that caught the snitch and ended a game of Quidditch in less than five minutes.
He does not like being recognized as the boy who lived or the fact that after introducing himself people tend to look immediately up at his scar. In the beginning, Harry just wants to find a place in the world to fit in-to make friends and be as normal as he can manage even after he learns about his wizard heritage. By the time year four rolls around Harry is hoping to have a normal year at Hogwarts but once again gets thrown into yet another plot to kill him. Once again he makes a narrow escape and realizes that he'll just never get that normal life he wanted.
He does not seem to think things through very well as he usually chooses to go with half a plan rather than a full one. He thinks about where he's going and maybe briefly about what he'll do when he gets there but not necessarily what he'll do after or how he'll get back. In year two, when he and Ron miss the train they both make the rash decision to take Ron's dad's car and fly it to Hogwarts when they should have waited for Ron's parents and told them bout about what happened-they maybe even could have used floo-powder to get to Hogsmede station. In his defense though, there are several times he doesn't really have time to think his plans through-see Ron getting dragged off by a black dog and Harry and Hermione chasing after him.
He's fiercely protective of those he cares about and will go to any means necessary to protect them. (i.e. Breaking up with Ginny in book 6) But this also means he's prone to bouts of rage and irrational thinking when those he loves wind up in danger and or hurt. After Bellatrix kills his Godfather in the department of mysteries he runs after her and tries to use the cruciatus curse on her, though it has little effect because he was acting out of anger and not out of the desire to hurt.
Harry also seems to have quite a bit of a problem with tunnel vision-particularly when he doesn't like someone and tends to jump to conclusions. This is seen though out the first year when he gets it in his head that Snape is trying to steal the sorcerer's stone, and even when presented with the idea of another suspect he assumes Snape is trying to bully Quirrell into telling him how to get past a certain enchantment. Harry had even seen Quirrell on the day Gringotts had been broken into but this slips his mind as he's just so sure Snape is the guilty party. His tunnel vision returns in book two when he thinks Malfoy is the heir of Slytherin and again towards the end of book five while he's frantically searching for someone form the Order of the Phoenix. After having been caught by Umbridge Harry, having forgotten that Snape was part of the order, tells Snape in code that Voldemort had captured Sirius and immediately assumes Snape isn't going to do anything about it because he does not immediately react. He does not stop to think that Snape cannot react in front of the present company. Despite his tunnel vision though, he has a very strong sense of what is morally right and wrong, he's not perfect but he does all he can to be a good person when his temper doesn't step in the way.
Harry does alright in school, often receiving relatively high marks but he's particularly gifted with defense against the dark arts, another trait he prides himself in as it gives him the idea that he wants to be an auror after graduating Hogwarts. A perfect career choice for him as he has a knack for investigation when his tunnel vision isn't getting in the way. He's good with observation, often noticing little details that others miss and not too terrible with logical thinking as, at the end of the series he's able to work out the true master of the Elder Wand is him. In the beginning though, and the place I'm taking him from he's not quite yet able to step back and look at the bigger picture.
Harry is an all around good person. He strives to do the right thing, goes through some very extreme measures to protect those he holds dear and is always willing to lend a helping hand where he can. He has a bit of hero complex which, at first, less focuses on the idea that he has save everyone and more that he wants everyone to stay safe. He is not as reckless as some people claim as more often than not he seeks out an adult before going off on his own. And any occasion he does not, he's left with no choice. Unfortunately for the poor boy, it seems he's a very strong magnet for trouble-as he says, he doesn't go looking for trouble, trouble usually finds him.
Abilities:
Magic! No, seriously. Harry Potter is about a young wizard that has various misadventures at a school for Witch craft and wizardry known as Hogwarts. However, considering that he's still in school and just about to complete his fourth year at the point I'm taking him from there are many spells he doesn't know yet as they have yet to be taught. Among this list would Augumenti, and Silencio. He also cannot do intentional wandless magic. He can perform any spells he learned in books 1-4, some of those being but not limited too, the Patronus, Wingardium Leviosa, locomotor, the stunning spell, and of course, Expelliarmus.
Harry can speak Parseltounge. That is to say he can speak with snakes-a very rare thing even in the wizarding world and generally associated with dark magic and dark wizards as it was something Salazar Slytherin could do and later more commonly associated with a gift Voldemort possessed.
Personal Item: His wand.
